Treble Kicks is seeking a passionate, energetic, and disciplined Part-Time Sunday-Only Karate Instructor to join our martial arts training team. This role is ideal for an experienced martial arts professional who enjoys teaching students of different age groups and skill levels while promoting discipline, confidence, physical fitness, and self-defense techniques.
The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging karate sessions every Sunday, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction in a safe, motivating, and structured learning environment. This position requires strong leadership, technical martial arts expertise, and a genuine passion for student development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured karate classes for children, teenagers, and adults.
Teach karate fundamentals including stances, strikes, blocks, kicks, kata, sparring basics, and self-defense techniques.
Create lesson plans tailored to student skill levels and progression goals.
Monitor student performance and provide constructive coaching feedback.
Ensure all training sessions follow safety guidelines and injury prevention standards.
Support students in preparing for belt grading examinations, tournaments, and demonstrations.
Maintain discipline, respect, and positive sportsmanship within the training environment.
Track attendance, student progress, and performance records.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academy management when required.
Assist in organizing special workshops, martial arts events, and promotional sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Black Belt certification in Karate (recognized association preferred).
Certification in martial arts coaching, sports training, or physical education is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of traditional and modern karate techniques.
Excellent classroom management and leadership abilities.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all age groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic first aid and injury management knowledge is preferred.
Professional, disciplined, and student-focused attitude.
Experience
Minimum 2โ5 years of karate training and teaching experience.
Prior experience teaching group classes is highly preferred.
Experience coaching children and beginners will be considered an added advantage.
Working Hours
Schedule: Sundays only
Shift Duration: 4 to 6 hours per day
Timing: Based on academy batch schedules (Morning / Evening sessions)

Ability to demonstrate techniques clearly and safely.
