Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Bookkeeper with strong expertise in Xero and MYOB accounting platforms. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a remote work environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting business decision-making through precise reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing day-to-day financial transactions and delivering timely insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using Xero and MYOB accounting software

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and collections

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting

Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and financial reporting standards

Process payroll and related statutory obligations where required

Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for financial reviews

Identify and implement process improvements for accounting efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Xero and MYOB accounting systems is mandatory

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently

Experience

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

Proven experience working with Xero and MYOB in a professional setting

Experience in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred

Prior experience handling international clients or multi-currency transactions is an advantage
Working Hours

Fully remote position with flexible working hours
