Job Summary

Osmosis, an Elsevier company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Course Developer – Medical Education to design, develop, and enhance high-quality digital learning experiences for medical and healthcare learners worldwide. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia teams to create engaging, evidence-based educational content aligned with current medical standards and learner needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive medical education courses, including video scripts, assessments, and interactive learning materials.
  • Collaborate with physicians, educators, and content experts to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and learner-centered content.
  • Review and update existing course materials to align with the latest clinical guidelines and educational standards.
  • Work closely with multimedia teams to produce high-quality visual and video-based content.
  • Analyze learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve course effectiveness.
  • Ensure all content meets regulatory, academic, and quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a remote work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Medical Education, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of medical concepts, terminology, and clinical practices.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development or instructional design, preferably in healthcare education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, engaging learning content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in medical education, content development, or instructional design.
  • Experience working with digital education platforms or online course development is highly preferred.
  • Prior collaboration with healthcare professionals or academic institutions is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
