Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Environmental Scientist – ESG Reporting to support our sustainability and environmental governance initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies by collecting, analyzing, and reporting environmental data aligned with global standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping clients meet regulatory requirements, improve sustainability performance, and enhance transparency in ESG disclosures.
Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data for ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP.

Develop and prepare comprehensive ESG reports and sustainability disclosures for internal and client use.

Monitor environmental performance indicators including carbon emissions, energy usage, water consumption, and waste management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG strategies into business operations.

Conduct environmental impact assessments and identify opportunities for sustainable improvements.

Stay updated with global environmental regulations, ESG trends, and reporting standards.

Support audits and verification processes related to ESG data and disclosures.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance environmental performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects.
Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in environmental science, sustainability, or ESG reporting.

Hands-on experience with ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting frameworks is preferred.

Experience working with international clients or multinational organizations is an advantage.
