Job Summary
Amplify Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Instructional Coach – Literacy to support educators in delivering high-quality literacy instruction. This role focuses on empowering teachers through professional development, coaching, and data-driven instructional strategies to improve student outcomes in reading and writing. The ideal candidate is passionate about literacy education, skilled in virtual coaching environments, and committed to fostering continuous improvement in teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities

Provide virtual coaching and mentoring to teachers to strengthen literacy instruction across grade levels.

Deliver engaging professional development sessions aligned with curriculum goals and best practices.

Collaborate with school leaders and educators to implement effective instructional strategies.

Analyze student performance data to guide instructional decisions and coaching priorities.

Support the implementation and effective use of Amplify’s literacy programs and digital tools.

Develop customized coaching plans tailored to individual teacher and school needs.

Observe classroom instruction (virtually) and provide constructive, actionable feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of literacy development, reading strategies, and writing instruction.

Proven ability to deliver effective professional development and coaching sessions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and online learning platforms.

Ability to analyze and interpret educational data to inform instruction.

Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience in literacy or related subject areas.

Prior experience as an instructional coach, mentor, or curriculum specialist preferred.

Experience working in remote or virtual education environments is highly desirable.
