Job Summary
TechPro Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic helpdesk team. This role is responsible for providing first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality remote support services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide timely technical support to users via phone, email, and chat platforms.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.

Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets within defined SLAs.

Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and processes.

Assist in system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.

Educate users on best practices for IT usage and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business applications.

Familiarity with remote desktop tools and helpdesk software.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).

Experience

1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.

Experience supporting remote users and distributed teams is preferred.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.
