Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Remote Legal Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Law. Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology-related agreements such as SaaS contracts, licensing agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.

Manage IP portfolio, including filings, renewals, and enforcement strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Advise on data protection, privacy laws, and cybersecurity compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify and mitigate legal risks in new technologies and digital products.

Handle disputes related to IP infringement and represent the company in legal proceedings if necessary.

Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting technology and IP, and provide proactive guidance.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence activities related to IP assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD); LLM in Intellectual Property or Technology Law is preferred.

Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

Strong understanding of global IP laws, technology regulations, and digital compliance frameworks.

Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Ability to interpret complex legal concepts and translate them into practical business advice.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a technology company, law firm, or corporate legal department.
