Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Mining Data Analyst – Resource Strategy to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Analyze large-scale mining and geological datasets to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities

Develop predictive models to support resource estimation, production planning, and cost forecasting

Collaborate with geologists and engineers to interpret data related to ore bodies, extraction processes, and reserves

Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders

Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems

Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in mining analytics
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mining Engineering, Geology, Statistics, or a related field

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar

Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

Solid understanding of statistical modeling and predictive analytics

Familiarity with mining software and geological modeling tools is an advantage

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly
Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the mining, natural resources, or energy sector

Proven experience working with large datasets and delivering actionable insights

Experience in remote collaboration and working with cross-functional global teams is preferred
