ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Reservation Coordinator at Courtyard by Marriott in Mumbai, you will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to book accommodations with us. Your primary focus will be to process reservations accurately while delivering exceptional customer service that exceeds guest expectations. You will manage incoming calls and inquiries, matching guests with the most suitable room options while showcasing the value and amenities our property offers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Verify and process all reservation information with callers to ensure complete accuracy and prevent booking errors
2. Determine the most appropriate room type based on guest requirements while optimizing room rates and occupancy for the property
3. Document special requests and accommodations in the reservation system, communicating any unique needs to relevant hotel departments
4. Explain guarantee policies, cancellation terms, and other booking conditions to guests in a clear and professional manner
5. Describe room features, amenities, and hotel facilities using effective sales techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1. Proven experience in hotel reservations, customer service, or a related field with strong phone communication skills
2. Proficiency with reservation systems and hotel management software, with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
3. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, manage high call volumes, and maintain accuracy under pressure
4. Strong sales acumen and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
