Job Summary

MongoDB is seeking a highly strategic and customer-focused Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) to lead engagement with global enterprise clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from MongoDB’s products and services. You will drive customer adoption, retention, and expansion by aligning business objectives with technical solutions, while building long-term, high-impact relationships across international markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with global enterprise clients, serving as the primary point of contact post-sale.
  • Drive customer onboarding, adoption, and ongoing success with MongoDB solutions.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Proactively identify risks to customer satisfaction and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead regular business reviews, demonstrating ROI and value realization.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with account executives.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally, influencing product improvements and innovation.
  • Monitor key success metrics, including customer health scores, retention rates, and engagement levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud technologies, and database platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex global accounts and multi-regional clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or related roles within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing enterprise or global clients.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Prior exposure to database technologies or developer-focused products is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with flexibility to accommodate global client time zones.
  • May require occasional early morning or late evening meetings to support international stakeholders.
  • Remote or hybrid working options available depending on location.
