Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Systems Analyst – Finance Systems Integration will be responsible for designing, analysing, implementing, and supporting integrated financial systems within the organization. This role ensures seamless connectivity between finance platforms, enterprise systems, and operational applications to enable accurate financial reporting, improved process efficiency, and data integrity. The incumbent will act as a critical bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring that system solutions align with strategic financial and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of finance system integration solutions across ERP and related platforms
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications
  • Develop and maintain integration workflows between financial systems and enterprise applications
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial systems
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to optimize system performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues in a timely manner
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, integration maps, and technical configurations
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of financial data flows
  • Ensure compliance with financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience with system integration tools, APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including budgeting, accounting, and reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and ITIL frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in systems analysis or financial systems integration roles
  • Proven experience working with enterprise finance systems in a medium to large organization
  • Experience in data integration, system migration, and ERP implementation projects
  • Prior experience within utilities, public sector, or large infrastructure organizations will be an advantage

Working Hours

  • Standard full-time working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
  • May require occasional after-hours or weekend support during system upgrades, critical incidents, or project deployments
