Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to join our growing remote team, supporting initiatives within the non-profit sector. This role is ideal for a creative professional who understands the power of digital storytelling and community engagement to drive meaningful social impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that amplify awareness, increase donor engagement, and strengthen the organization’s online presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with non-profit goals and campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging channels.
  • Create, curate, and publish high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, and campaigns).
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to optimize performance.
  • Engage with online communities, respond to comments/messages, and foster meaningful relationships with followers.
  • Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights and reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and program teams to align messaging and initiatives.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns for fundraising drives, events, and awareness programs.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to non-profit messaging guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce compelling digital content.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Prior experience working with non-profits, NGOs, or social enterprises is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media engagement and reach.

Working Hours

  • Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
  • Availability to overlap with global teams across different time zones when required.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work during major campaigns or events.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and audience engagement techniques.
