Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our fully remote SaaS operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based platforms. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, applying software engineering principles to infrastructure and system management. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, system resilience, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems for SaaS platforms.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure rapid resolution of production issues.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and release processes.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, observability, and performance.

Establish and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure service excellence.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

Enhance system monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.

Solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and system architecture.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.

Proven experience managing production environments for SaaS or cloud-native applications.

Experience in high-availability systems and large-scale distributed environments is highly desirable.
Working Hours
