Job Summary

Masai School is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Teaching Assistant for its AI and Machine Learning programs. This role is designed for individuals passionate about education, mentorship, and emerging technologies. The Teaching Assistant will support instructors, guide students through complex concepts, and ensure a high-quality, outcome-driven learning experience. Key Responsibilities

Assist lead instructors in delivering AI and Machine Learning curriculum effectively.
Provide one-on-one and group support to students during live sessions, doubt-clearing sessions, and project work.
Review assignments, projects, and code submissions, offering constructive feedback.
Facilitate hands-on learning through coding exercises, debugging support, and real-world problem-solving.
Monitor student progress and proactively identify learners who may need additional support.
Collaborate with the academic team to improve course materials, assessments, and teaching strategies.
Maintain documentation of student performance and engagement.
Encourage a positive, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.
Understanding of algorithms, statistics, and data structures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners with varying skill levels.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.
Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or technical support roles is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with strong technical expertise and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
