Job Summary
UrbanStay Hotels is seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Female Front Desk Receptionist to join our luxury hospitality team in Mumbai. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle billing, payments, and invoicing processes.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
- Presentable personality with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a hospitality background may also apply.
Working Hours
- Rotational shifts including morning, evening, and night shifts.
- 6 working days per week with one rotational day off.
