Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Web Accessibility Specialist to join our remote team. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive accessibility audits across digital platforms to ensure compliance with global accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying barriers, recommending improvements, and helping organizations deliver inclusive digital experiences for all users, including those with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough accessibility audits for websites, web applications, and digital products using both automated tools and manual testing techniques

Evaluate digital assets against recognized standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

Identify accessibility issues and document findings with clear, actionable recommendations

Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to remediate accessibility issues

Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner

Perform usability testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation

Stay updated on evolving accessibility laws, standards, and best practices

Support internal teams by providing accessibility training and guidance
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and accessibility compliance requirements

Proficiency with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, or similar

Experience using assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for identifying and explaining accessibility issues

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in web accessibility auditing or a related field

Proven track record of conducting accessibility audits and delivering actionable insights

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed environment is preferred
