Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support & Troubleshooting Specialist to join our remote workforce. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy solving technical issues efficiently. As a key member of our IT support team, you will provide remote assistance to clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless system performance and excellent user experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and devices
  • Troubleshoot system errors and performance issues in a timely manner
  • Assist in setting up user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex problems
  • Ensure data security and compliance with company IT policies
  • Conduct routine system checks and preventive maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and common software applications
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and helpdesk systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

Experience

  • Minimum 1โ€“3 years of experience in IT support or a related role
  • Freshers with strong technical knowledge and certifications may also apply
  • Experience in remote support or helpdesk environments is an advantage

Working Hours
