Job Summary

MNC Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our organization’s digital assets from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, implementing protective measures, and responding to security incidents. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify risks.
  • Implement security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks and phishing attacks.
  • Perform security assessments on new and existing applications and infrastructure.
  • Work with IT and development teams to integrate security solutions into system architecture.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and cybersecurity trends.
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, SIEM, and DLP.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Hands-on experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, and ethical hacking techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network security principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience

  • Entry-Level: 1-2 years of cybersecurity experience in IT security operations.
  • Mid-Level: 3-5 years in cybersecurity analysis, penetration testing, or SOC operations.
  • Senior-Level: 6+ years with experience in managing enterprise security strategies.

Working Hours

  • Standard 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday.
  • Availability for on-call rotations in case of security incidents.
  • Flexible working hours for remote employees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and forensics.
  • Ability to analyze and mitigate security risks effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Familiarity with security compliance and governance.
