Job Summary

MNC Jobs is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionists to join our work-from-home team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. Key Responsibilities

• Listen carefully to audio and video recordings and transcribe them into written format accurately.
• Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure clarity, proper grammar, and punctuation.
• Adhere to specific client guidelines, including formatting and style requirements.
• Meet deadlines for assigned projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Communicate with the team or clients as needed for clarification of audio/video content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute (WPM).
• Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct transcription errors.
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand accents and varying audio quality.
• Basic knowledge of transcription software/tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Google Docs for formatting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Experience

• Prior transcription experience is preferred but not required.
• Open to candidates with relevant training or a demonstrated ability to transcribe audio/video files.

Working Hours

• Flexible part-time schedule.
• Minimum availability of 10-15 hours per week.
• Deadlines and workload will vary depending on the project.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Comfortable working with diverse content from different industries.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
