Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized E-commerce Product Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating product listings on platforms such as Amazon and Shopify. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience in e-commerce operations and a passion for ensuring accurate, high-quality product information to optimize the customer shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain product listings on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Shopify.

  • Input and validate product information, including titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing.

  • Conduct regular audits of listings to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and company standards.

  • Research and analyze competitors to identify opportunities for improving product visibility and rankings.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and inventory teams to ensure accurate product availability and promotional details.

  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback to update listings or address product information gaps.

  • Use SEO strategies to optimize listings for search visibility and improve conversion rates.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product listings, such as inaccuracies or listing suspensions.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Amazon and/or Shopify product listing management.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for bulk data uploads and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO, and marketplace best practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

  • Familiarity with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or other e-commerce analytics software is a plus.


Experience

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce product data entry or a related role.

  • Experience working with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify Admin Panel.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO for e-commerce listings is preferred.


Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with an expectation of 20-40 hours per week, depending on workload and deadlines.

  • Availability during core team hours for collaboration and meetings.
