Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Video Editor with expertise in Adobe Premiere to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards and engages our target audience. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a global team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for marketing, social media, and internal projects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos align with the companys brand identity and vision.
• Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects into videos to enhance quality and engagement.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and other digital channels.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Stay updated on video editing trends and techniques to maintain innovative and cutting-edge content.
• Perform quality checks and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with After Effects is a plus).
• Strong understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, storytelling, and transitions.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and optimization techniques for various platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work.

Experience

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience (freelance or in-house).
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects (links to previous work required).
• Experience editing content for social media platforms is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedule with approximately 35-40 hours per week.
• Collaboration with teams in different time zones may require occasional adjustments to working hours.
