Job Summary:

Netflix is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Tagger to join our team remotely. As a Netflix Tagger, you will play a critical role in categorizing and tagging content for our platform to ensure that subscribers can discover the most relevant titles. You will analyze movies and TV shows, apply appropriate metadata, and assign tags that help personalize the Netflix experience for our diverse global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Watch and analyze a variety of Netflix content, including films and TV shows, across genres and languages.
• Tag content based on various parameters like genre, themes, mood, audience, and other relevant descriptors.
• Ensure metadata is aligned with Netflixs standards and assists in improving the recommendation engine.
• Continuously refine and update tags and descriptions to enhance user experience and content discoverability.
• Collaborate with the content and editorial teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of tags.
• Maintain an understanding of current trends in media and entertainment to keep tags relevant.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple content assignments in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and categorize content with precision.
• Proficiency in using computers and the ability to quickly learn Netflixs internal tools and systems.
• Familiarity with a wide range of movie and TV show genres, global media culture, and diverse storytelling.

Experience:

• Prior experience in content tagging, editorial work, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
