Job Description

We are seeking skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Chefs to join a leading restaurant in Singapore. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in preparing authentic Indian dishes across North Indian, South Indian, or regional specialties. Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, rotis, and regional specialties.

  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, food quality, presentation, and consistency.

  • Manage kitchen inventory, ingredient preparation, and daily mise-en-place.

  • Supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

  • Collaborate with the management team to plan menus, introduce new dishes, and optimize kitchen workflows.

  • Monitor portion control, minimize waste, and manage costs efficiently.




Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Chef or Cook specializing in Indian cuisine.

  • Strong knowledge of spices, ingredients, and regional Indian cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

  • Experience operating tandoor ovens and other Indian cooking equipment.

  • Good communication and team management skills.

  • Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not mandatory.




Additional Requirements:



  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to Singapore (visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants).

  • Must pass basic health checks and meet immigration requirements.

  • Fluency in Hindi or English is preferred for kitchen coordination.
