AgroMart Retail is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grocery Packing and Billing Assistant for our evening part-time shift near Peelamedu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing grocery items, managing the billing counter, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth and satisfying shopping experience. Key Responsibilities



  • Pack grocery items accurately and neatly for customers.

  • Handle billing operations, including scanning items and generating receipts.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the billing and packing area.

  • Assist customers with queries and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

  • Check product quality and shelf life before packing.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

  • Follow store safety and hygiene protocols.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass (Graduates can also apply).

  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to handle billing software or POS machines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and products.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.




Experience



  • Freshers are welcome; prior experience in retail, billing, or packing is an added advantage.




Working Hours



  • Part-Time Evening Shift: 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Flexible based on store requirements).

  • Weekend availability is preferred.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of grocery items and basic retail operations.

  • Ability to lift and carry moderate-weight grocery packages.

  • Friendly and approachable personality to interact with customers.

  • Basic problem-solving skills in handling customer queries or billing issues.
