Job Summary


Accenture India is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning New Associate to join our Operations team. In this entry-level role, you will support the financial planning and analysis processes, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, and monthly forecasts.

  • Support budgeting and cost-tracking activities across multiple business units.

  • Perform basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into internal systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation for leadership reviews.

  • Follow organizational compliance and data confidentiality guidelines.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of basic financial concepts, including budgeting and reporting.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and familiarity with financial tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.



Experience



  • 0 to 1 year of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting (freshers with strong academic knowledge are encouraged to apply).

  • Internship experience in finance or operations will be an added advantage.



Working Hours



  • Full-time, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).

  • Standard office hours with flexibility based on project requirements.

  • Occasional extended hours during financial closing periods.

  • Knowledge of financial statements and basic accounting principles.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
