Job Summary


Allzone Management Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Coding Process Analyst to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately analyzing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the revenue cycle process, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining high coding quality standards.



Key Responsibilities



  • Review and analyze patient medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with client-specific guidelines and regulatory standards.

  • Perform audits and quality checks to identify errors and provide corrective feedback.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies in documentation.

  • Prepare and maintain coding reports, tracking productivity and accuracy levels.

  • Support the team in improving processes to optimize turnaround time and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and payer-specific policies.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or any related field.

  • Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) and coding software applications.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.



Experience



  • 1 to 3 years of experience in medical coding or healthcare RCM processes.

  • Experience in auditing or specialty coding (Inpatient, Outpatient, Surgery, or ED) is an added advantage.



Working Hours



  • Full-time, 5 days a week.

  • Flexible shifts may be required to align with client needs (Day/Night shifts as per US healthcare processes).

  • In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity and quality benchmarks.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Quick adaptability to new systems, processes, and industry updates.
