SmartHub Marketing is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Executive to join our dynamic team. This remote-friendly role is specifically designed for college students who are passionate about digital marketing and want to gain hands-on experience in social media management. You will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and helping increase brand visibility across various online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, schedule, and publish creative content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and audience engagement to optimize content strategy.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in executing social media campaigns and promotions to boost traffic and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with the company’s branding and goals.
- Track social media analytics and prepare weekly performance reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university (any discipline).
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trending online content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creativity and the ability to design visually appealing posts using Canva or similar tools (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required.
- Previous exposure to social media management, content creation, or online internships will be an added advantage.
Working Hours:
- Flexible working hours suitable for college students.
- Approximately 2–4 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of social media algorithms and trends.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and hashtags research is a plus.
