Job Summary


NewsPixel Agency is looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance our digital media and news portal to provide an exceptional user experience. You will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure our website is visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly. This position is ideal for a candidate passionate about modern web technologies, intuitive design, and creating seamless digital experiences for a high-traffic media platform.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web pages for the media and news portal.

  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into functional, high-quality code.

  • Optimize website performance for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, content teams, and backend developers to create a cohesive user experience.

  • Implement user-centric design principles to increase engagement and retention.

  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve site functionality and design.

  • Monitor website analytics to identify opportunities for UI/UX improvements.

  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends, frameworks, and UI/UX best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js for dynamic interfaces.

  • Experience in Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch for UI/UX design.

  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and their impact on web design.

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.


Experience



  • 2–4 years of experience in UI/UX and front-end web development, preferably in media, news, or digital content portals.

  • Experience with content-heavy websites or CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) is an advantage.


Working Hours



  • Full-time position: Monday to Friday

  • Flexible timings with remote/hybrid work options based on project requirements.
