Job Summary

As a Ground Staff member, you will be the face of Emirates at the airport, responsible for delivering exceptional service to ensure smooth and safe operations both on the ground and at the terminal.




Key Responsibilities



  • Greet and assist passengers during check-in, boarding, and arrival processes.

  • Manage baggage handling, tagging, and loading coordination.

  • Guide passengers through immigration and security procedures.

  • Provide accurate flight information, resolve ticketing or schedule issues.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and airline regulations.

  • Escort passengers with special needs or VIP travelers.

  • Coordinate with flight and cabin crew to ensure timely departures and arrivals.

  • Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.

  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment at gates and counters.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Hospitality, Aviation, or Tourism is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); additional languages are an advantage.

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with airport systems or ticketing software.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

  • Neat and presentable appearance at all times (per Emirates grooming standards).




Experience



  • No prior experience required – Freshers are encouraged to apply.

  • Any internship or part-time experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation will be considered an asset.




Working Hours



  • Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

  • 8 to 10 hours per shift, with shift timings aligned with flight schedules.

  • Night and early morning shifts may be required.

  • High level of patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
