Job Summary
Emirates Airlines is seeking an energetic, professional, and customer-focused Customer Inquiry Desk Officer to be the face of the brand at airport terminals. You will be the first point of contact for passengers, delivering exceptional service by addressing queries, offering accurate information, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. Your role is pivotal in maintaining Emirates’ reputation for premium service excellence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet passengers and visitors courteously at the Emirates customer inquiry desk.
- Respond to inquiries related to flight schedules, baggage, check-in procedures, airport facilities, and airline services.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations with patience and professionalism.
- Coordinate with ground handling, ticketing, security, and other airport departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Emirates flight schedules, airport procedures, and travel advisories.
- Provide multilingual support when required to assist international passengers.
- Support passengers with special needs, unaccompanied minors, or those requiring assistance.
- Record customer interactions and follow internal reporting protocols as per compliance standards.
- Uphold Emirates’ values of excellence, hospitality, and care in every passenger interaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, French, Mandarin, etc.) is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with airport systems and customer service software.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, hospitality, or travel/aviation environment.
- Prior experience in airport or airline operations will be highly advantageous.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a passion for aviation may also apply.
Working Hours
- Rotational shifts, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts as per airport operational hours.
- 8 to 10 hours per shift, with necessary breaks and compliance with aviation labor laws.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of airport operations and airline services.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to assist travelers from diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality service.
- Ability to manage stressful or complex situations with professionalism.
