Job Summary:


Careem Operations Pakistan is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rides Assistant Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Gujranwala. This role is critical in ensuring seamless daily ride operations, driver-partner engagement, issue resolution, and operational efficiency in the region. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between drivers, riders, and internal teams, playing a key role in maintaining service quality and rider satisfaction.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate daily ride-hailing operations within the assigned city zone.

  • Manage and support driver-partners by resolving concerns, onboarding assistance, and tracking performance.

  • Monitor real-time ride metrics and take corrective action to address supply-demand imbalances.

  • Ensure all customer and driver queries are addressed promptly with professionalism.

  • Assist in organizing local driver engagement activities, training, and compliance workshops.

  • Work closely with internal departments such as Customer Support, Operations, and Marketing to maintain a high standard of service.

  • Prepare and submit reports on ride performance, attendance, issue logs, and KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and participate in process optimization projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and fieldwork using company systems and tools.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Strong communication skills in both English and Urdu.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.




Experience:



  • 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or coordination roles preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with strong internship experience in similar roles are encouraged to apply.




Working Hours:



  • Monday to Saturday

  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • May require occasional field visits or extended hours during peak operational days.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of ride-hailing business models and market dynamics.

  • Understanding of operational KPIs and performance management.

  • Ability to handle field teams and coordinate with driver-partners efficiently.

  • Proactive problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.

  • Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems.
