Job Summary
OneTech Associates is looking for detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our growing team as Remote Transcription Assistants. In this role, you will listen to audio or video recordings and convert them into accurate written text. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates who have strong listening skills, a good command of English, and a desire to work from the comfort of their own home. Training will be provided to help you succeed in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to and accurately transcribe audio/video recordings into written documents.
- Ensure transcripts are free from grammatical errors, typos, and formatting issues.
- Follow style guides and transcription formatting requirements provided by the company.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for clarity and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and content.
- Meet assigned deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Communicate effectively with team leads for clarifications and project updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Good typing speed (minimum 40 WPM preferred).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with transcription software/tools (training provided).
- Ability to focus for extended periods and work with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience
- No prior transcription experience required – training will be provided.
- Previous experience in typing, data entry, or similar roles will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible scheduling options – work full-time or part-time based on your availability.
- Must be able to commit to meeting project deadlines.
