Job Summary


SecureMalls Inc. is seeking reliable and vigilant Event Security Staff to ensure the safety and smooth operation of concerts, sporting events, and large-scale gatherings. As part of our security team, you will be responsible for crowd control, access monitoring, emergency response, and maintaining a safe environment for all attendees, staff, and performers. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-energy settings, remain calm under pressure, and are dedicated to public safety.



Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel and ticket holders gain access.

  • Conduct bag checks, ticket scanning, and security screenings as per event protocols.

  • Patrol assigned areas to deter suspicious activity and address security concerns promptly.

  • Assist in crowd management, guiding guests to seating areas, and preventing overcrowding.

  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical situations, altercations, or evacuations.

  • Collaborate with event organizers, law enforcement, and emergency services when needed.

  • Document incidents accurately and submit detailed security reports.

  • Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests while enforcing venue rules and regulations.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent (security certification is a plus).

  • Strong observational skills and situational awareness.

  • Ability to remain composed and decisive in high-pressure situations.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.

  • Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

  • Knowledge of crowd control techniques and basic first aid preferred.



Experience



  • Previous experience in event security, crowd management, or law enforcement is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Entry-level candidates will be considered if they demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn.



Working Hours



  • Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Hours vary based on event schedules; overtime may be available during peak seasons.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Understanding of basic security operations and emergency response procedures.

  • Ability to de-escalate tense situations diplomatically.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
