Job Summary


Concentrix is seeking a talented and innovative Command Line Conversational Designer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing conversational experiences that operate through command-line interfaces (CLI). The ideal candidate will blend creativity and technical expertise to craft intuitive, efficient, and engaging interactions that enhance user experience for CLI-based applications and tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UX designers to deliver seamless conversational flows that drive user satisfaction and operational excellence.




Key Responsibilities



  • Design and develop conversational scripts, dialogues, and flows tailored for command-line interface applications.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and product teams to integrate conversational designs into CLI tools and platforms.

  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously optimize conversational interactions for clarity, efficiency, and user engagement.

  • Develop and maintain documentation of conversational flows, intents, and commands to ensure consistency and ease of maintenance.

  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in conversational design and command-line interfaces.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to conversational functionality within CLI environments.

  • Work within Agile teams to contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives ensuring timely delivery of conversational components.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven experience in conversational design, preferably with a focus on command-line or text-based interfaces.

  • Strong understanding of human-computer interaction principles and user experience design.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar used in CLI environments.

  • Experience with chatbot design tools and platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework) is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and user-centric writing.

  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple, intuitive conversational flows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess conversational performance and user needs.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).




Experience



  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in conversational design, UX writing, or related fields.

  • Experience working in remote and Agile team environments is highly desirable.

  • Prior work on CLI tools or developer-facing applications will be an advantage.




Working Hours



  • This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours.

  • Candidates should be available to collaborate during core business hours aligned with the team’s timezone (flexibility will be discussed during the hiring process).

  • Occasional participation in meetings across time zones may be required.
