SafeNet India is seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant Remote Content Moderator to review, monitor, and manage content across multiple social media platforms. The role involves ensuring compliance with community guidelines, removing harmful or inappropriate content, and maintaining a safe online environment for users. Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor social media content (text, images, videos, live streams) to ensure compliance with platform policies and community guidelines.

  • Identify and report harmful, illegal, or abusive content in accordance with company standards.

  • Review user-generated content promptly and accurately, maintaining a high moderation quality score.

  • Take quick decisions on sensitive content while balancing legal and ethical considerations.

  • Document and escalate complex issues to senior moderation or policy teams when necessary.

  • Stay updated on evolving trends, policies, and regulations in content moderation and digital safety.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve moderation processes and ensure platform integrity.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).

  • Ability to analyze and make decisions quickly under pressure.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.

  • Basic technical knowledge of internet safety, privacy, and security guidelines.




Experience



  • Freshers with excellent communication and analytical skills are welcome.

  • Prior experience in content moderation, customer support, or social media management is an added advantage.




Working Hours



  • Flexible shift options available (Day/Night shifts).

  • Minimum 4-8 hours per day depending on full-time or part-time engagement.

  • Weekend shifts may be required based on project needs.

  • Strong ethical judgment and ability to handle sensitive or graphic content professionally.
