Job Summary:


Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Social Media Moderator to oversee and manage content on various social media platforms for our client brands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and moderating user-generated content to ensure it aligns with brand guidelines and company values. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure that brand presence on social media is positive, engaging, and free from any inappropriate or harmful content.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Review, approve, and moderate user-generated content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others.

  • Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and social media community standards.

  • Respond to flagged content or comments in a timely and professional manner.

  • Engage in proactive moderation, ensuring that all posts, comments, and messages comply with the company's policies and brand voice.

  • Monitor trends, identify issues, and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure the brand's online presence remains positive and secure.

  • Report on moderation activities, highlighting key issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop best practices for social media interaction and engagement.

  • Provide recommendations for content strategy based on community insights and moderation trends.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in social media moderation or content management.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Ability to handle sensitive or offensive content with professionalism.

  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of online safety and moderation tools and techniques.

  • Familiarity with content management systems and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).




Experience:



  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in social media moderation, content management, or a similar role.

  • Experience working with content approval and community management on large-scale platforms is a plus.

  • Previous experience working with brands or in a digital marketing environment is highly desirable.




Working Hours:



  • Full-time position.

  • Flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work.

  • Occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required depending on client needs and social media activity peaks.

  • Strong knowledge of social media best practices, community engagement, and content moderation.

  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in managing potentially difficult content or user comments.

  • Familiarity with brand-specific tone and guidelines, ensuring consistency in communication.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving ability, especially in managing issues related to user-generated content.
