Flipkart is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Management Associate to join our expanding remote operations team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and availability of products across Flipkart’s digital retail ecosystem. The ideal candidate will manage virtual inventory records, assist in stock optimization, and collaborate cross-functionally to support seamless customer experiences. This is a fully remote, work-from-anywhere opportunity, ideal for individuals who thrive in a structured yet flexible environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and update stock levels across warehouses and fulfillment centers using Flipkart’s internal systems.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment of products.
- Generate inventory reports and highlight discrepancies or stockouts to relevant teams.
- Perform regular audits to maintain accurate product listings and inventory counts.
- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to streamline inventory movement.
- Analyze inventory trends to help optimize stock levels and reduce overstock or understock situations.
- Ensure inventory compliance with company standards and data integrity.
- Participate in continuous process improvement efforts related to inventory management.
✅ Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.
- Comfortable using remote communication tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a virtual environment.
📚 Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
- Freshers with strong Excel/data skills and relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
⏰ Working Hours
- Full-time: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
- Flexible timing with daily deliverables; must be available during core hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST
🧠 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of e-commerce inventory systems and logistics workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP tools like SAP, Oracle, or WMS systems (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency.
- Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving approach.
