You will act as the bridge between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring all communications are professional, empathetic, and accurate. Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, or chat from patients regarding medical appointments, billing, insurance, and healthcare services.

  • Maintain accurate patient records by updating information in internal systems.

  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage, claims, and benefit details.

  • Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.

  • Resolve patient issues with professionalism and escalate complex concerns when necessary.

  • Ensure all communication complies with HIPAA and internal confidentiality standards.

  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and billing departments to resolve discrepancies.

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance KPIs such as response time, satisfaction rating, and resolution rate.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a calm, empathetic demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and remain organized.

  • Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and insurance processes.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and healthcare management software is a plus.

  • Must have a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.




Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare support, or call center operations.

  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in the healthcare sector are encouraged to apply.




Working Hours



  • Flexible shifts available (Morning, Afternoon, or Night depending on the time zone).

  • Minimum 5 working days per week.

  • Option to work weekends or holidays with compensatory time off.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, or patient support workflows (preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.

  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and handle sensitive patient concerns.

  • Strong ethical standards and respect for patient confidentiality.
