Job Summary
Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals for the role of Remote Pharmacovigilance Assistant. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for recent graduates in pharmacy, life sciences, or related fields who are passionate about drug safety and regulatory affairs. You will assist in the case processing of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and support the pharmacovigilance team in maintaining high-quality and compliant safety data for our global pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and quality control of individual case safety reports (ICSRs) in pharmacovigilance databases.
- Review, triage, and process adverse event reports from various sources (medical literature, consumers, HCPs).
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines (ICH, FDA, EMA, etc.).
- Assist in narrative writing and data coding using MedDRA and WHO-DD terminology.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive safety information.
- Support audit readiness and contribute to SOP updates as needed.
- Coordinate remotely with safety associates, medical reviewers, and regulatory teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good command of English (written and verbal communication).
- Ability to understand and summarize medical/scientific content.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes or willingness to learn.
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance, medical data entry, or clinical research.
- Freshers are highly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote working hours.
- Part-time (minimum 4 hours/day) or full-time (up to 8 hours/day) options available.
- Weekend flexibility depending on project needs.
