Progressive Technology is looking for a dedicated and resourceful Technical Support Specialist to join our fast-growing remote support team. This role involves assisting customers in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, providing guidance through complex systems, and delivering top-tier service across various communication channels. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and chat for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve customer concerns by walking them through step-by-step solutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical support engineers or relevant departments.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on company products, system changes, and new technologies.
- Educate customers on self-service options and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of technical support or customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with remote support tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk), or CRM platforms is a plus.
- Recent graduates with strong IT knowledge and communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours based on shift rotation (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening).
- Full-time commitment required (minimum 40 hours/week).
- Occasional weekend or holiday support may be necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).
- Knowledge of internet and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A strong team player with a proactive attitude toward learning.
