Progressive Technology is looking for a dedicated and resourceful Technical Support Specialist to join our fast-growing remote support team. This role involves assisting customers in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, providing guidance through complex systems, and delivering top-tier service across various communication channels. Key Responsibilities



  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and chat for software, hardware, and network-related issues.

  • Diagnose and resolve customer concerns by walking them through step-by-step solutions.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical support engineers or relevant departments.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the ticketing system.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on company products, system changes, and new technologies.

  • Educate customers on self-service options and best practices.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.




Experience



  • Minimum of 1 year of technical support or customer service experience is preferred.

  • Experience with remote support tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk), or CRM platforms is a plus.

  • Recent graduates with strong IT knowledge and communication skills are also encouraged to apply.




Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours based on shift rotation (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening).

  • Full-time commitment required (minimum 40 hours/week).

  • Occasional weekend or holiday support may be necessary.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).

  • Knowledge of internet and network troubleshooting.

  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • A strong team player with a proactive attitude toward learning.
