Progressive Technology is actively seeking motivated and service-oriented individuals to join our dynamic remote support team as Online Help Desk Support Specialists. This is an entry-level position requiring no prior experience—perfect for freshers, college students, and career switchers eager to break into the tech support or customer service industry. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues and help ensure quick and effective resolution while maintaining high standards of professionalism.




Key Responsibilities



  • Respond promptly to user inquiries via email, chat, or support tickets.

  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to software, hardware, or network connectivity.

  • Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 or relevant technical teams.

  • Record customer interactions and update case records accurately.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by demonstrating patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a non-technical, easy-to-understand language.

  • Follow company protocols and standard operating procedures for issue resolution and communication.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Basic computer literacy (typing, internet usage, email).

  • Excellent written communication skills in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.




Experience



  • No prior professional experience required.

  • Freshers, homemakers, college students, and career switchers are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours (morning, afternoon, or night shifts available).

  • Part-time and full-time shifts offered based on availability.

  • 5-day work week with rotational weekend shifts if applicable.
