Job Summary


Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Data and Business Analyst to support our strategic decision-making processes through data analysis and reporting. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid model, and is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in business intelligence and data analytics.



Key Responsibilities



  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

  • Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs and business performance.

  • Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  • Support business operations by identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist in preparing data visualizations and presentations for internal stakeholders.

  • Document processes, data flow, and analytical methodologies.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.



Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.

  • Internships, academic projects, or certifications in analytics will be considered a plus.



Working Hours



  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week.

  • Standard business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with flexibility depending on team and location).
