Job Summary
Netflix is seeking detail-oriented and passionate individuals to join our global remote team as Content Taggers and Review Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for watching and analyzing Netflix original and licensed content to apply accurate tags, ratings, and metadata. Your contribution directly impacts how our users discover and enjoy personalized recommendations on the platform. Key Responsibilities
- Watch assigned Netflix shows, movies, and documentaries and analyze their themes, characters, tone, and maturity level.
- Apply specific tags and metadata using internal Netflix tools and tagging guidelines.
- Assess and flag content based on language, violence, nudity, and other sensitive categories.
- Write short, clear summaries and descriptions for internal use.
- Collaborate with global editorial and metadata teams to ensure consistent tagging quality.
- Meet assigned tagging and review quotas within the expected timeline.
- Provide quality assurance feedback to help improve tagging systems and workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong command of English with excellent grammar and vocabulary.
- Ability to watch and evaluate various genres and types of content objectively.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow tagging and classification guidelines precisely.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.
Experience
- Prior experience in content moderation, editing, journalism, film studies, or digital media is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with a passion for entertainment and strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to global cinema, TV shows, or cultural content is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours – choose your own schedule.
- Minimum weekly availability of 15–20 hours required.
