Job Summary
American Airlines is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Customer Service Agent to join our team. Key Responsibilities

- Booking and Reservations: Assist customers with flight bookings, changes, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about airline policies, procedures, promotions, and travel restrictions to provide accurate information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., reservations, baggage, and technical support) to resolve customer concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions and communications meet airline policies and regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field (travel industry experience is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with using computer systems, CRM software, and multi-tasking between various channels.
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Experience
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in travel, hospitality, or call centers.
- Experience handling phone, email, and live chat customer support is desirable.
Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Shift work may be required, with rotating schedules to accommodate the airline's operational hours.
