Job Summary


FastMove Logistics is expanding its high‑volume distribution hub and is looking for reliable, safety‑minded Warehouse Pickers and Packers to ensure that every order is picked accurately, packed securely, and dispatched on time. You will work with handheld scanners/WMS, follow standardized operating procedures, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role suits individuals who enjoy being on their feet, hitting performance targets, and working as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.




Key Responsibilities



  • Order Picking: Accurately locate products using barcode scanners, RF guns, or voice-pick systems and pick to defined productivity/accuracy targets.

  • Packing & Dispatch: Pack items per SOPs, ensuring correct quantities, protective packaging, labeling, and documentation.

  • Inbound & Putaway: Receive, inspect, and sort inbound stock; confirm quantities and quality, and put away inventory to assigned bin locations.

  • Inventory Control: Report discrepancies, damages, or stock variances; assist cycle counts and stocktakes.

  • Material Handling: Safely use pallet jacks, trolleys, or (if licensed) forklifts to move goods.

  • Health, Safety & Housekeeping: Comply with HSE policies, wear required PPE, keep work areas clean, and immediately report hazards or incidents.

  • Process Compliance: Follow standard work instructions, 5S practices, and quality assurance procedures.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors, inventory, and dispatch teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and daily KPIs.

  • Systems & Reporting: Update order statuses in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and complete shift-end checklists.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Minimum High School Diploma / Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent).

  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using handheld scanners / WMS.

  • Numeracy and attention to detail to ensure pick/pack accuracy.

  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items throughout the shift (typically up to XX kg/lbs—specify).

  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously.




Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, retail backroom, or logistics operations (freshers welcome; full training provided).

  • Prior exposure to RF scanning, WMS/ERP systems, or pick-to-light/voice technologies is an advantage.

  • Any valid forklift / reach truck license (if applicable) is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Shift-based operations: Day, Evening, Night, and Weekend shifts available (rotational or fixed—specify).

  • Standard shifts of 8–10 hours with scheduled breaks; overtime may be required during peak seasons.

  • Part-time / flexible options may be considered depending on business needs.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of basic warehouse workflows (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).

  • Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO, batch/lot tracking, and barcode standards is beneficial.

  • Ability to meet and exceed productivity & accuracy KPIs.

  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

  • Team player mindset with a positive, can‑do attitude.
