Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Helpdesk Support Associate to join our remote BPO team. In this role, you will provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat. You’ll assist users with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient support experience.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, operating systems, and basic networking.

  • Log, track, and manage support tickets using helpdesk tools or CRM platforms.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams, following defined escalation procedures.

  • Guide customers through step-by-step solutions using clear, user-friendly language.

  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and frequently asked questions to enhance knowledge base resources.

  • Adhere to SLAs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.




Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, email clients, and networking fundamentals.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues over the phone or through remote chat/email support.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.

  • Stable internet connection and a quiet, professional home working environment.




Preferred Experience:



  • Prior experience in a technical support, IT helpdesk, or customer service role (voice/chat/email).

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshdesk).

  • Experience working remotely in a BPO or ITES environment.
