Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Coordinator to support healthcare operations remotely. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in medical administration who can manage patient information, coordinate schedules, and assist healthcare teams from a remote setting.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and communication across healthcare teams

  • Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR/EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality

  • Handle insurance verifications, authorizations, and claims-related documentation

  • Support physicians and clinical staff with scheduling, correspondence, and reports

  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone or email in a timely and professional manner

  • Track referrals, lab results, and diagnostic reports as required

  • Prepare and distribute patient forms, summaries, and care coordination documents

  • Assist in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards




Requirements:



  • Degree or diploma in healthcare administration, medical office management, or a related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in a medical or clinical administrative role

  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes, medical terminology, and insurance protocols

  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and common office software (MS Office, Google Workspace)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational ability

  • Comfortable working independently and remotely across time zones




Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements

  • Experience with virtual healthcare tools (telehealth platforms, patient portals)

  • Prior remote work experience in a medical setting
