We are on the hunt for a skilled Backend Developer to join our remote-first team. You will work on exciting global projects with companies across industries like tech, finance, and e-commerce. Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs

  • Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams

  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code in languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or Go

  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks or bugs

  • Ensure system security, data protection, and best practices in backend architecture

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

  • Document systems and workflows for long-term maintainability



Requirements



  • 3+ years of backend development experience

  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, etc.)

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and third-party integrations

  • Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Docker

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team

  • Bonus: Experience with serverless functions, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or GraphQL
