Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, systems, and components for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Conduct detailed electrical system analysis to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with Singapore’s regulations and codes.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, project managers, and contractors to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget.

  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software.

  • Monitor installation and commissioning of electrical systems on-site, providing technical support and troubleshooting when necessary.

  • Perform regular maintenance checks and recommend improvements to optimize electrical system performance.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout project lifecycle.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.

  • Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Singapore’s electrical codes and international safety standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.



Experience



  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience in electrical system design, installation, or maintenance is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Experience working on international projects or familiarity with Singapore’s infrastructure standards is a plus.



Working Hours



  • Standard full-time working hours: 40-44 hours per week.

  • May require occasional overtime based on project deadlines or urgent maintenance needs.

  • Work environment includes both office-based design work and on-site visits.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, control systems, and electrical machinery.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Good knowledge of electrical safety protocols and risk management.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
