Job Description
We are currently hiring a Front Desk & Admin Assistant to join our hospital’s administrative team. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and capable of handling both patient-facing responsibilities and backend administrative tasks in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors at the front desk
- Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and basic inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and update databases as needed
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for smooth patient flow
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general front desk correspondence
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and update billing details when required
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area
- Support administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and reporting
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient and hospital-related information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or degree in healthcare administration is a plus)
- 1–3 years of experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a hospital or clinic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with hospital software is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
